Most people visit Victoria Peak for the view from the top. The Peak Flight offers a very different way to take it in: clipped to a steel cable, suspended above the mountainside, looking straight down at Victoria Harbour. It is part zipline, part via ferrata rock climb, and one of the more unusual outdoor experiences available in Hong Kong.
The activity has been generating buzz in local media roundups of the best things to do in Hong Kong in 2026, and for good reason. It combines genuine adventure with one of the most iconic backdrops in Asia, and it is designed to be accessible to people with no climbing experience.
How It Works
The full experience takes roughly four hours. Groups meet at Admiralty MTR Station (Exit C2), where professional coaches lead participants on a 20-minute hike up to the starting point on the mountainside. From there, you clip into a via ferrata system of fixed steel cables, ladders, and rungs bolted into the rock face.
The route includes two zipline crossings with views directly over Victoria Harbour, plus a rope traverse section where you cross between cliff faces on suspended cables. The final stretch is a 30-minute downhill hike that ends at Peak Galleria. All safety equipment, including harnesses and helmets, is provided.
Planning a full day on Victoria Peak? You can book Peak Tram tickets, Sky Terrace 428 passes and other Peak attractions on Klook to round out your visit.
What You Need to Know Before Booking
Participants must be aged 12 to 65 and in good general health. You do not need prior climbing experience, but you should be comfortable with a one-hour uphill hike in hiking shoes. The coaches guide you through every section, including how to clip in and move along the via ferrata.
Two session types are available: a daytime run with city views (HK$780 per person) and an evening run with night views of the lit-up harbour skyline (HK$880 per person). Both are discounted from the regular price of HK$980. Group size is 6 to 10 people per session. Individual bookings require a minimum of 8 participants to form a group, so booking via platforms like Klook or KKday is the easiest route.
Bring at least 500ml of water, wear sportswear and hiking shoes, and apply sunscreen. Gloves are recommended. Sessions are cancelled in bad weather, red rainstorm warnings, or Typhoon Signal No. 8 and above, with rescheduling offered.

Is It Worth It?
For anyone who has exhausted the usual hiking trails and outdoor activities in Hong Kong, this is a genuinely different experience. The via ferrata sections are thrilling without being extreme, and the zipline crossings deliver the kind of view you simply cannot get from the Sky Terrace or any restaurant on The Peak. It is also a strong option for team outings or birthday celebrations with a group of friends.
Booking at least two weeks in advance is recommended, as sessions fill up quickly during weekends and holiday periods.

If this has whetted your appetite for more, Klook offers plenty of other Hong Kong tours, attraction passes and experiences worth a look.
